Four mantel decor for Christmas

Christmas is around the corner again, and every corner of your house has to feel the effects. So, you have decorated your home with trees, wreaths, garlands, lights and all the other things you can remember. You don’t want to leave your fireplace looking as empty as it seemed all year round. It would make a lot of difference to decorate the mantel. Here are some few mantel decors for Christmas.

1. Red and green mantel

It is Christmas, after all. There is so much you can do with the colors red and green. Make a green wreath and add red garlands to it. You would have the most dramatic-looking mantel in a matter of minutes. It isn’t so stressful, you can decide to buy your wreath and garlands, and all you will have to do is place it carefully on the mantel.

2. Vintage Christmas mantel

It is your mantel, and you can do whatever you want with it. You are allowed to go creative about it and the things you use to decorate it. For this vintage Christmas mantel, you can place several objects on top of the fireplace. For example, a mirror would do a great job. Old frames and ornaments would be suitable too. As much as possible, let the ornaments be either red or green.

3. Metallic Christmas mantel

You can go for gold. Some gold flower pots and ornaments would make a lot of difference on your mantel. Some wrapped presents would be excellent too. Just be sure that they are all covered in gold. An all gold mantel would be nothing short of distinct and of course, extraordinary.

4. Lit mantel

It can never get stale, lighting up the whole place for Christmas. Light up your mantel this Christmas and have the most beautiful mantel ever. You can add different colors of bulbs, or you can go with a single color of bulbs. Either way, you are sure to create some magic.
